Terms of use
Last updated 16 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Tessovate technologies, Polali Post, Bantwala, D.K ("Ellidiya", "we"). By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy policy.
1. Who can use Ellidiya
- You must be 18 or older.
- You need a mobile number that you own and use, from a country where Ellidiya is available (India, and some countries in Europe, the USA and Australia). One number works on one main device at a time; you can link computers to it.
- You are responsible for your account and for keeping your phone secure. Never share your sign-in code with anyone. Ellidiya will never ask you for it.
2. The rules
Ellidiya is for real conversations between people. You must not use it to:
- Send spam: bulk or unwanted messages, chain messages, or automated messages to people who didn't ask for them.
- Cheat people: fraud, fake offers, phishing, asking for OTPs, passwords or bank details, or impersonating someone else (including Ellidiya).
- Harass, threaten, bully or stalk anyone, or share someone's private information or intimate images without consent.
- Share content that is illegal in India, including child sexual abuse material (which we report to the authorities), content that promotes terrorism or violence, or hate against any group.
- Spread false information that could cause harm, or violate someone's copyright or trademark.
- Break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, scrape it, or get around its limits, blocks or security.
3. Groups, broadcast lists and bots
- Broadcast lists can only include people you already chat with, with daily limits. Each person gets your message as a normal 1-to-1 message and can block you.
- Bots can only message people who started them, and must not send spam or ask for sensitive information. If you make a bot, you are responsible for what it sends and for keeping its token secret.
- Group admins are responsible for how they run their group, but cannot see members' numbers.
4. When rules are broken
Anyone can report a message, person, group or bot. Our team reviews reports and may warn, suspend or permanently remove an account, with or without notice where needed to keep people safe. If you think we made a mistake, write to our Grievance Officer at [email protected]. We cooperate with lawful requests from Indian authorities.
5. Your content
What you send stays yours. You give Ellidiya only the permission needed to store and deliver it to the people you send it to. You are responsible for what you send and must have the right to share it.
6. Ellidiya's app, code and brand
The Ellidiya apps, website and software (including their code, screens, design, look and feel, the name "Ellidiya", "Jhalak" and our logos) belong to Tessovate technologies and are protected by copyright and trademark law. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Ellidiya app for its normal purpose. You must not, and must not help anyone else to:
- copy, download, extract or reuse the app's code, screens or design, in whole or in part;
- decompile, disassemble, decode or reverse-engineer the app or the service, or try to find its source code;
- change, rebrand, repackage or redistribute the app, or offer a modified or unofficial version of it;
- build a product or service that copies or imitates Ellidiya, its features or its design, using anything taken from it;
- use our name, logos or anything confusingly similar without our written permission.
Only download Ellidiya from ellidiya.com or an official app store. These limits apply except where Indian law expressly allows otherwise. Breaking them may lead to your account being removed and to legal action.
7. The service
- Ellidiya is free for personal use. Business features may be paid in the future; we will tell you before anything you use starts to cost money.
- We work hard to keep Ellidiya running and your messages safe, but the service is provided "as is". Messages can occasionally be delayed or fail to deliver. Do not rely on Ellidiya for emergencies; call 112.
- To the extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for loss caused by other users, and our total liability is limited to ₹1,000.
- We may change or stop features. If we ever shut Ellidiya down, we will give you notice and time to back up your chats.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may end accounts that break these terms.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bantwala have jurisdiction. If you live in the European Union, the UK, the USA or Australia, you also keep the protections your local consumer law gives you that cannot be waived by agreement. Please contact us first; most problems can be solved by writing to us.
10. Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Using Ellidiya after that means you accept the new terms.
